Donald Trump was finally banned from Twitter after he incited a violent attack on the U.S. Capitol. Twitter finally took this long-overdue step to prevent more violence and bloodshed. It’s better late than never, and we thank Twitter for taking action to prevent dangerous rhetoric and misinformation from being spread across its platform. Twitter has never been consistent with these policies.

Donald Trump was finally banned from Twitter after he incited a violent attack on the U.S. Capitol. Twitter finally took this long-overdue step to prevent more violence and bloodshed. It’s better late than never, and we thank Twitter for taking action to prevent dangerous rhetoric and misinformation from being spread across its platform.
Twitter has so far failed to act against other dangerous individuals such as Iranian “Supreme Leader” Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. He has a history of tweeting wild antisemitic conspiracy theories and encouraging violence against Israel and its people. Khamenei has called for Jihad against Israel, and states that the “Zionist regime is a deadly cancerous growth” and it must be “uprooted and destroyed.”
It’s time for Twitter to take action against ALL incitement to violence and BAN Khamenei
Now that Twitter finally kicked off Donald Trump for encouraging violence, the social media platform MUST apply the same standard of scrutiny to other dangerous world leaders. Khamenei is the supreme leader of the greatest sponsor of terrorism in the WORLD, per a report issued by President Barack Obama’s State Department. He continues to spew dangerous, racist messaging and openly advocates for genocide!
When Twitter’s VP of Public Policy was asked about Khamenei’s account (before they suspended Trump), he claimed the messages do not violate the hate-speech rules. This sent a strong message to users - antisemitism is not vile enough to be considered dangerous. Jews know better than anyone else what happens when world leaders employ this kind of rhetoric.
Twitter now has a chance to correct this egregious misjudgment and prevent dangerous incitement against Jews and Israel. They were right to kick off Trump. Now they MUST do the same to Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Act Now: Tell Twitter to take action against Khamenei and his disgusting messages. Ban ALL accounts that incite violence!
