PETITION: Condemn Anti-Asian American Bigotry

The Asian American community is under assault. Just yesterday, a white supremacist gunman shot up a series of Asian American businesses in Atlanta, killing eight.

For months, Asian Americans endured relentless verbal abuse as a result of former President Trump’s reckless rhetoric. Asian Americans were uniquely scapegoated for the COVID-19 pandemic as a direct result of President Trump and his media surrogates using terms like “Kung Flu”, “Wuhan Flu”, and “Chinese Virus.” Even before yesterdays attacks, instances of violence against Asian Americans were reaching an all-time high.
